little rascals...

have we mentioned lately how much we absolutely adore these two? they are at such a fun age; constantly learning and picking up on things (and getting into EVERYTHING). anyway, here a few of our favorite tricks:

scripture time is reverent time...

...or at least it's supposed to be.



we're not sure why, but the girls seem to be at their rowdiest during the half-hour leading up to bedtime. it's actually quite funny, which is why we chose to document it. thankfully, they are a little more reverent for family prayer following scriptures:)

p.s. is there anything better than a baby in a diaper? or no, two babies in diapers? i submit that there is not.

avery the clown...

avery has just had a few too many picture-worthy moments lately...


she definitely thinks she is hot stuff now that she can climb up on the computer chair...look at her swinging those legs...
the other morning she woke up looking a little remeniscent of sloth from goonies

initially we thought it was pink eye, so she missed nursery that day. but the swelling just went down on its own as the day wore on, so we are thinking maybe she just slept on that one side for a very long time.

tell me this girl isn't a ham! we sure love our aves...

the trench...

so my sister lindsey, who has impeccable taste in children's clothes, sent this trench out with all of her other cute, kid's hand-me-downs-- i absolutely LOVE it. however, one problem i come across often with my doublets is that when it comes to hand-me-downs (which we are so grateful for) there will be one article of clothing that is just SO incredibly cute, that i have nothing decent enough to pair it with for the other twin. and so it is with the trench... sounds silly i know, but some of you will understand...
