chopped.

this friday i went from long and blond

to short and more natural

and i quite like it!

predicament...

is it cruel to run for the camera when an instance like this occurs?

that is the underside of a gliding ottoman by the way...

silly tilly...

tilly definitely deserves a post of her own too. she is such a funny little person. she loves to dance and play airplane with daddy. she is also very good at pushing our buttons and getting into mischief. if she knows she is not supposed to do something, she will slyly look at us and do it anyway. you know the look. she also said her name for the first time this last week. it sounded like " tee-dee." needless to say, this girl melts our hearts...

the funny hair is due to banana hands. don't you just love when they do that?

little rascals...

have we mentioned lately how much we absolutely adore these two? they are at such a fun age; constantly learning and picking up on things (and getting into EVERYTHING). anyway, here a few of our favorite tricks:

scripture time is reverent time...

...or at least it's supposed to be.

we're not sure why, but the girls seem to be at their rowdiest during the half-hour leading up to bedtime. it's actually quite funny, which is why we chose to document it. thankfully, they are a little more reverent for family prayer following scriptures:)

p.s. is there anything better than a baby in a diaper? or no, two babies in diapers? i submit that there is not.

avery the clown...

avery has just had a few too many picture-worthy moments lately...

she definitely thinks she is hot stuff now that she can climb up on the computer chair...look at her swinging those legs...
the other morning she woke up looking a little remeniscent of sloth from goonies

initially we thought it was pink eye, so she missed nursery that day. but the swelling just went down on its own as the day wore on, so we are thinking maybe she just slept on that one side for a very long time.

tell me this girl isn't a ham! we sure love our aves...
