a lot of times people ask us...

who we think the girls look like most

is there any question really?

dancing queens...

remember this post of the girls dancing? well, their moves have evolved a little. two disclaimers about these videos: a.) while cleaning my room i turned on our clock radio to a pop station because i can usually get the girls to dance to it. in truth, i am not a frequent radio listener so i have no idea what music is "in." b.) please ignore my encouragement for more dancing, does anyone else hate hearing their recorded voice? anyway.

silly faces of the sick...

a couple of weeks ago our family got hit hard with the stomach flu. somehow, miraculously, i evaded it, so i was able to take care of the rest of the gang. the girls had major cabin fever during that week, and they were a little well, loopy at times:) these were the faces i got when i asked the girls to smile.

tilly and her lizard-neck smile

and avery's fake smile...

thanks for the beauty shots girls, definitely frame-wrothy:)

tutu cute!

while my mom was here she talked me into buying these. i have to say i am glad she did--they fit the girls perfectly, and they love to wear them over just about everything. our aspiring ballerinas!

p.s. if you are mom and haven't been to crazy 8 kids clothing store, go! they have some really cute stuff for good prices:)

toga party anyone?

i'm sure it comes as no surprise to you that haven't been the best blogger lately--and i like to think i have some pretty good excuses (i wish one of them was that i am too busy keeping up with the girls' baby books). at any rate, pictures such as this cannot go undocumented. enjoy!
every time we would fix her onesie, she would readjust it. funny baby:)

our mini-olympics...

every month each of jordan's siblings contribute to a stutz family newsletter aptly named "stutz nutz & botlz." jordan's sister jana then compiles the newsletter and sends one to each household. it is such fun way to journal and keep tabs on everyone else. anyway, jordan wrote this month's for our family and i thought it was pretty clever, so i thought i'd share:

Now that both babies are walking, we are having our own olympic games: Stuff like foot races, climbing, anything toss (including cookies), and an occasional wrestling match. Too bad they are two years early...or late. Unfortunately, OUR games include refereeing, cleaning up said cookies, and scrambling to save babies from falling off couches or down stairs.
Competitors' Stats:
Avery - weight: 20.68 lbs (8.64%) - height: 31.0 in. (42.87%) - head circumference: 18.0 in. (32.62%)
Matilda- weight: 19.53 lbs (2.58%) - height: 29.5 in. (8.52%) - head circumference: 18.25 in. (51.44%)

And the results of the games:

Gold medal for foot races goes to...Avery!
Gold medal for cookie toss goes to... Matilda!
Gold medal for climbing goes to ...Avery!
Gold medal for huge head goes to... Matilda!
And last but not least...gold medal for having the cutest twins EVER goes to....Jordan and Maci!

Love to all from Provo 2010
