a 'practically perfect' birthday party...

thanks to their aunt lindsey, the girls had a mary poppins party that was one for the books...avery and tilly have been somewhat obsessed with mary poppins lately, so when they found out we were going to be flying kites, drawing with chalk, and having horse races at their party, they were in heaven. we were so glad that most of our family and a few friends could join us for the celebration. by far my favorite part of the party was watching the girls ooh and aah over each gift they opened. you would think they had won the lottery each time--it was hysterical...and totally worth the planning...

it was a jolly holiday indeed!
